T Minus 3 Days Until Holiday Shop

It's the most wonderful time of the year...

Only seven more 12-hour work days left before I get to go home for the first time in a year. The Holidays are the Village's most hectic time of the year. Wish me luck with the exhaustion. And right now, I get to drive down to Colorado Springs to speak. I hope I don't fall asleep at the podium...

A Reluctant Fan

I could not bring myself to post the University of Florida logo on my blog. I thought the Southeastern Conference logo would do. I despise the Gators more than any other team in the SEC. I have made fun of their jean shorts. I have mocked their gator chomps. I have ridiculed UF boys with their copious amounts of hair gel. Still, they will be representing the world's greatest college football conference in the national championship. And I do believe that the team with the hardest strength of schedule in the nation deserves to play. I reluctantly rooted for UF during the NCAA basketball championship. I suppose I can grin and bear it again. My friends out here tell me that the SEC just "thinks" we're the greatest. Of course, all of us know without a doubt we are.

Mission Thought for the Day

"Missions then is less about the transportation of God from one place to another and more about the identification of a God who is already there. It is almost as if being a good missionary means having really good eyesight. Or maybe it means teaching people to use their eyes to see things that have always been there; they just didn't realize it. You see God where others don't. And then you point him out."

Grateful for Jenn and Amy

This is a two-part post. One, I would like to give a big congrats to Miss "J-E-double N" because she took the LSAT yesterday. The pics above are from our celebration.

I would also like to say thanks for Miss Amy, who is a-okay after a slighty traumatic car accident this past week. See, Coloradans--driving in the snow is scary!!
